Britain's Got Talent child star Shaheen Jafargholi wowed the judges when he first appeared on the show back in 2009. Launching into Smokey Robinson's Who's Lovin' You, based on the Jackson 5 recording, the 12 year old received a standing ovation from the audience after impressing with the soulful number.
But things hadn't begun so smoothly. Shaheen's first audition song was a cover of Amy Winehouse's Valerie. Judge Simon Cowell, who appeared on the show alongside Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan, stopped him from singing after just two lines, saying:"You got this really wrong," before asking the young singer for another number.
Eventually, Shaheen ended up finishing in sixth place in the whole competition and later sang Who's Lovin' You at the funeral and memorial service for pop icon Michael Jackson.
He then went on to appear in EastEnders, playing Shakil Kazemi – the younger brother of Kush Kazemi – from 2016 to 2018. After that he moved to Casualty, where he's been playing nurse Marty Kirkby.
