Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

The claws came out on Britain’s Got Talent in a row between a contestant and judges while recording next week’s semi-final. Disney-loving due Joe and Katherine O’Malley, who auditioned dressed as Sebastian the crab and Ariel from The Little Mermaid, were upset after their latest performance flopped.

Producers radioed security as tap dancer Joe looked set to blow his top, with a source joking: “The lobster saw red.” In the audition stages, Joe had danced in his Sebastian outfit with his face painted red while Katherine sang.
