Born in Hertfordshire, current permanent judge Alesha Dixon has spent 20 years in the public eye after coming to fame in the early 2000s.
A founding member of Mis-Teeq, she went on to have a successful solo career with multiple chart hits. Winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2007, she became a household name and two years later she was appointed one of the show's judges.
