A British man who was trapped in a 13ft well for six days has been rescued. Jacob Roberts, 29, said he was being chased by a dog and broke his leg when he stumbled to the well in Bali, Indonesia.
He managed to survive with no food and had a "small amount of water left" when he was rescued after a farmer in Pecatu village raised the alarm.
Jacob's cries for help were heard by a local who was going to feed his cows. Local search and rescue chief Gede Darmada said: "Jacob's calls for help were heard by a local who was going to feed his cows." Pictures show the rescue team entering the four-metre deep disused well wearing personal protective equipment.
