officialcharts.comThe nominations for the 2021 BRIT Awards have been revealed, with dance and rap acts leading the pack following a strong year for both genres.
Several acts see three nominations apiece including Celeste - who won 2020's Rising Star award - Dua Lipa, and Arlo Parks who will all compete in the Female Solo Artist category and Album of the Year.
Celeste and Arlo Parks are also up for Breakthrough Artist while Dua Lipa's Top 5 hit Physical is up for British Single. British rap artists enjoy a strong presence across nominations for 2021 following huge success for the genre over the last 12 months.
Rising duo Young T & Bugsey enjoy three nominations, while AJ Tracey, Headie One and J Hus scoop two nods each, with all three competing in Male Solo
