The 35-year-old Oscar-winning actress is starring alongside legendary actress Stockard Channing in the new play Elektra and they posed for photos on stage during press night on Wednesday (February 5) at the Duke of York Theatre in London, England.
Here is the synopsis: “Elektra, haunted by her father’s assassination, is consumed by grief; a need for survival; and a thirst for vengeance.
When her long lost brother Orestes at last returns, she urges him to a savage and terrifying conclusion but at what cost?” The play by Sophokles was written sometime between 420 and 414 BC and this marks the first major revival of the play in over a decade.
