Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

A woman, who has been waiting for a kidney transplant for over ten years, says it would be a dream come true if she could be dialysis free on her wedding day.Eamie Gormley, 30, recently got engaged to her long-time partner Ben.

Now, Eamie from County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, would love to celebrate her wedding with family and friends, knowing that she has the burden of dialysis gone, Belfast Live reports. She said: "I want to be totally dialysis free for my wedding and I can be but only with someone's help if they would consider donating a kidney to me."At the age of just six, Eamie was diagnosed with the rare kidney disease, MPGN-2 - often referred to as "dense deposit disease" - due to it hindering the kidney's ability to filter blood and produce urine, causing them to become dense. The autoimmune disease affects both the kidneys and the eyes and it was here that Eamie's journey with kidney failure began. She explains: "I began Peritoneal dialysis (PD) for five years from the age of eight until I turned 13 when I received my first transplant."PD involved a catheter (tube) being surgically fitted into my tummy and I was connected to a machine seven nights a week, overnight, for ten whole hours.

There was never an off night then with PD."Sadly seven years later when she turned 20, Eamie's kidney began to reject and she once again found herself back on dialysis. But this time she was on Haemodialysis, which is much more harsh on her body. "It involves getting my blood cleaned and free of toxins, which all of us encounter in what we eat or drink, three times a week at my local Dialysis Unit in Omagh Hospital," she said. "Over the years, I have tried different methods for dialysis which unfortunately for me has not worked.
