Tatton Brewery, just a stone’s throw from Tatton Park in Knutsford, is shutting after 14 years of brewing beer that was sold in venues across the North West.
The family-run brewery announced on social media this afternoon (February 23) that it would be closing its doors for good next week and said remaining open was ‘no longer viable’.
In an emotional post on Facebook the team at the brewery said the business had ‘come to the end of the road’ amid soaring costs coupled with owner Gregg Sawyer wishing to take a step back due to family responsibilities.
