Leicester City will dish out more than £18m in compensation for Brendan Rodgers IF they wield the axe on the struggling Irishman.
The 49-year-old admitted after the Foxes' 6-2 drubbing against Tottenham that he would hold no grudges if the club's owners called time on his three-and-a-half year reign at the King Power Stadium.
Rodgers has almost three years left to run on his £200,000-a-week contract, which expires in 2025. Leicester paid £8m to prise him away from Celtic in 2019, and are on the verge of a £10m outlay if they sack him now - which would take the total cost of his tenure to £18m in compensation.
Chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has a major call to make with his side losing six of their first seven league games, which has left them marooned at the bottom of the English Premier League.
