Former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has paid with his Leicester job after the Foxes slipped into the Premier League relegation zone.The Irishman was at the helm for over four years after his shock Parkhead exit and narrowly missed out on the Champions League on two occasions while securing FA Cup glory in 2021.

But it was a disastrous campaign for Rodgers and his players and they now face the very real prospect of relegation.That has prompted the Leicester board into executive action with manager and club parting ways.

His place in Leicester City history is assured.“However, performances and results during the current season have been below our shared expectations.
