Brendan Rodgers admits his Celtic rebuild will need to roll on to January after the summer window left him wanting more.The Hoops boss bagged Paulo Bernardo on loan from Benfica on deadline day to ad to the late capture of Nat Phillips from Liverpool and Luis Palma from Aris.
Rodgers’ late flurry took the number of arrivals this summer up to nine – and he also managed to keep hold of Matt O’Riley despite a £10m bid from Leeds United.

For us there was the question of can we improve the depth of the squad knowing some players were going to maybe want to move on?“Then there’s the unexpected in terms of Jota and Carl Starfelt.
