On Wednesday, July 7 at around 6.20pm, officers were called to a crash on the M66 near to the junction of the M60 in Bury. Officers established that a Scania G30 was travelling northbound, joining the M66 from the M60 before crashing with a Renault Master. Greater Manchester Police have sadly announced today that the driver has since died. No other injuries were reported and no arrests
