A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a university graduate in Moss Side. Badri Issa died after being stabbed on Moss Lane East shortly before 8pm on Wednesday evening (October 25).
The 22-year-old was rushed to hospital from the scene after his friend alerted the emergency services but tragically, he died of his injuries.

He was taken into custody for questioning by detectives. The arrest comes after work by teams across GMP, including by the Major Incident Team detectives, Tactical Vehicle Interceptor Unit, Force Critical Wanted Unit officers and the National Police Air Service helicopter in a joint effort.
