The family of a woman at the centre of an ongoing murder investigation have paid tribute to her as a man has been charged by detectives.
Susanne Galvin, 55, died in hospital on Monday (September 18) two days after she was found unconscious at her home on Pear Avenue in Bury on the evening of September 16.
Stephen Ball, 31, also of Pear Avenue, has since been charged with murder by detectives and has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Thursday (September 21).
A woman, aged 41, who was also arrested has been released on bail.
