Brazilian suspected arrested in Scotland after alleged triple stabbing in Kent

A man accused of stabbing three people in Kent has been arrested in Scotland on suspicion of attempted murder after going on the run.The 29-year-old Brazilian suspect allegedly fled north of the border following the incident in Dartford on Saturday night, August 31.

One of the injured in the incident was believed to be his 27-year-old friend Anna Gleicy Helrigle de Brito.It's believed two other people including Anna's boyfriend were injured in the attack at the weekend.

Following the incident Kent Police announced that an arrest had been made in Scotland.Anna's sister Danyella Angel Helrigle told Brazilian media that Anna, a delivery driver, was working in a fast-food restaurant at the time of the incident.

All three victims are recovering from their injuries in hospital. Anna's family has since launched an online appeal to help them fundraise for flights to England to support her in hospital.Elisangela Alves de Brito, Anna's mum, wrote on the fundraiser: "I am her mother, I need to get there and I can't afford it, please help me with any amount that God touches your heart, if you can't help with amounts help me in prayer and share with whoever you think can help."A statement from Kent Police said: "A suspect has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after three people were injured in Dartford.
