A brazen dine-and-dash couple allegedly "fled" a Scots restaurant without paying their bill while "laughing" at staff.Davie's Cafe and Ice Cream Parlour in Dundee took to Facebook on May 14 to warn others about the man and woman after they "made a mess of the toilet" before reportedly leaving without paying.This is the second hospitality establishment allegedly targeted by the couple after the Birkhill Inn also in Dundee reported the same people to the police when they apparently fled without paying a £105 bill.Davie's Cafe and Ice Cream Parlour took to Facebook and wrote: "We are a small family business.
Even a small theft hurts us badly. Here are two people who were impersonating another couple."The man made a horrible mess of the bathroom, refused to pay and laughed as they left."We have seen they have just done this to the Birkhill Inn too."Can all those who work in hospitality please be aware of their faces?
They are repeat offenders. They will unquestionably do this at your work too." Cheryl Roberts, duty manager at the other restaurant targeted, the Birkhill Inn, told The Courier about the shocking incident.
She said: "The pair were acting shifty from the moment they came in. They had three courses and enjoyed drinks but regularly went out for cigarette breaks.“Near the end of the meal, some staff recognised the pair.
