A brave young Scot died of bowel cancer six days after he was diagnosed. Darren Forrest passed away on Monday following a short battle with the illness after he was diagnosed less than a week before.
Heartfelt tributes have been paid to the 23-year-old, from Banchory, who has been described as "the most kind hearted, loving and strongest Scottish boy".
