Joey's mum, Sam, has spoken of the agonising wait after her baby son was rushed into theatre for an emergency operation at Edinburgh Sick Kids hospital.
It came just hours after they were told he had a brain tumour, reports Edinburgh Live. The mum, from Edinburgh, said: “Our little Joey was only 12 days old when he had emergency surgery in December last year.
Hours before, we were given the devastating news that he had a brain tumour.“We were told to prepare for the worst. Our world had shattered."
