The family of a 16-year-old boy who was tragically found dead in a river in Cheshire have described him as 'brave and full of light' in a heartbreaking tribute.
The body of Jonty Evans was tragically pulled from the River Weaver on Sunday, September 1. Police issued a public appeal to find the teenager as a missing person two days earlier.
He was found in a section of the Weaver near to Riverside, in Nantwich. Jonty's family have now issued a statement paying tribute to their 'compassionate, sensitive, brave' son, Cheshire Live reports. He was not only a son, but a friend and a brother. "Jonty was compassionate, sensitive, brave and full of light, when he smiled it was as mountains smile to see the spring.
