'Brave and beautiful' Heartbroken family pay tribute to young Cystic Fibrosis warrior who died aged 24

Cystic Fibrosis. The family of Kristina McKellar, from Glasgow, have paid tribute to their beloved daughter and sister after she sadly passed away aged just 24 on Monday.

Kristina's mum Rona broke the tragic news on social media and said her life would never be the same again after her daughter gained her angel wings.

Rona wrote: "I’m absolutely heartbroken to have to write this but on Monday my gorgeous girl Kristina McKellar got her angel wings , she had fought a long hard battle with Cystic Fibrosis and she finally let it win the fight ."I was so proud of her and she was the most brave , beautiful ( inside and out ) and so funny young lady that i have so much pleasure to call her my daughter."My heart is absolutely broken and my life.
