The Oscar winner won Best Supporting Actor at the Academy Awards for his work in the Quentin Tarantino movie and the beloved filmmaker will not be directing the rumored sequel.
The Playlist is reporting that Quentin will return to write the screenplay for the untitled film, but directing duties will go to David Fincher.
The outlet says that Quentin‘s screenplay for the previously planned film The Movie Critic evolved into this new project and Netflix is possibly paying over $20 million for the script.
