Boyzone's Shane Lynch will have devastated many fans after his latest interview, where he declared that the beloved boyband will "never" reunite.

Speaking on Lorraine today, Friday 31 January, with stand-in host Ranvir Singh, Shane opened up about the upcoming Boyzone documentary No Matter What, set to air on Sky Documentaries on Sunday 2 February.

He made it clear that while he and his fellow bandmates, Keith Duffy, Ronan Keating, and Mikey Graham cherish their time as Boyzone, they won't be reforming as a band or creating new music.

Ranvir asked whether Boyzone might hit the studio again, to which Shane responded: "I say this with the greatest respect, we will always be a band called Boyzone but we will never be a band again.
