Boy Meets World Stars Maitland Ward and Danielle Fishel’s Podcast Feud, Explained
glamour.compodcast on February 23, former costars Maitland Ward and Danielle Fishel got into it. Like, they really got into it.At one point, Fishel asked Ward point-blank if she “hates” , including Will Friedle, Fishel's co-host on the pod.
Ward replied that she doesn't. Instead, she said to Fishel, “I think that you hate me, because you wouldn’t speak to me on , and that was hurtful.” After that, the conversation turned into a full-blown argument, which got pretty granular.In 2013, for example, Ward sent Fishel a congratulatory message on Facebook for , but realized that she and Fishel were no longer Facebook friends.
Fishel explained that she rarely uses the platform, and didn't see Ward's message until 2022, when she asked Friedle to send her Ward's number so that she could apologize.
Fishel claimed Ward told Friedle that she would save the conversation for the podcast, because it would be great for ratings.But the argument went deeper than Facebook.
