Boy George has revealed he is teaming up with Lulu on a new song. The singer is a huge fan of the Scottish legend and invited her on stage at Culture Club’s two Hollywood Bowl gigs in the summer.
Now George, 62, real name George O’Dowd, wants to go into the studio with Lulu – but not to remake Shout or even compete in Eurovision, which she won in 1969 with Boom Bang-a-Bang.
George is hoping to rekindle the magic she made with Take That, who helped her get a first UK No1 with Relight My Fire in 1993.
George, who will be in Aberdeen and Glasgow next week playing Captain Hook in an arena panto version of Peter Pan, said: “She’s been a friend for years. “We actually have something already written called Do It which I need Lulu to sing on.
