Boy, 16, rushed to hospital after terrifying street attack
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital after he was robbed and attacked in Oldham on New Year's Eve. The victim was walking down Featherstall Road North at around 9.30pm on December 31 when a 'group of people' approached him and demanded he hand over his bag, police said.
They threatened the boy but he refused to give it to them. He was then attacked, leaving him with an injury to his head. The suspects fled the scene with his bag. Join our WhatsApp Top Stories and Breaking News group by clicking this link. The boy was rushed to hospital after calling the police.
An investigation was launched and today (January 26), police released photos of four people they want to speak to about the attack.
Officers believe 'they may have further information regarding this incident that could help with the investigation'. Anyone who recognises them, or who has any information, is being urged to get in touch.
