A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 15-year-old was stabbed to death outside a school in Huddersfield.
The teenage boy died after the stabbing outside the North Huddersfield Trust School on Wednesday afternoon. The boy received treatment at the scene before being rushed to hospital for emergency surgery, but he tragically died a short time later, West Yorkshire Police said.
A spokesperson for the force has confirmed today that a teenage boy has been arrested on suspicion of his murder. He was arrested at an address in Huddersfield in the early hours of this morning.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson told Sky News: "The youth was arrested at an address in Huddersfield shortly before 5am this morning in connection with the incident in Woodhouse Hill, Fartown, yesterday afternoon.
