Police were called but she was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Today, the 13-year-old - who cannot be named for legal reasons - pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving, YorkshireLive reports.
He had been due to go on trial accused of murder but prosecutor Mark McKone KC told the court that plea was acceptable to the Crown.
