A 10-year-old boy killed after being mauled by a dog in Caerphilly in Wales has been named. Gwent Police have formally named the victim as Jack Lis.
He died at the scene of the attack on Pentwyn, Penyrhoel, at around 3.55pm last night (Monday). The animal was then shot dead by police firearms officers, police said. She wrote: "With so much heartbreak and before close friends and family see his name in the news, I have to announce our beautiful boy Jacks was taken so tragically yesterday. "It was not our dog nor did it happen at our family home.
