A debate has erupted in a Greater Manchester borough - over the location of the border between two areas. The boundary bust-up has taken Facebook by storm.
It comes after a sign reading 'Welcome to Bryn' was erected in the Ashton-in-Makerfield suburb, part of the wider Wigan metropolitan borough.

Many claim the sign, outside Ashton Library, is indeed bang in the middle of the neighbouring Ashton ward, not Bryn. The issue has 'opened a can of worms’.
