Bottles thrown and woman hit in head with traffic cone as violent brawl erupts in Glasgow

Glasgow city centre.The shocking clip shows a number of people pour out onto Duke Street, which runs through the Dennistoun area in the city's east end, on Saturday evening.Several of those involved were filmed pushing and punching one another while bottles are seen being thrown.One woman is then seen walking towards a man brandishing what appears to be a wooden stick-type weapon.A traffic cone is then thrown which strikes her in the head.Oncoming traffic, including a bus, was stopped in its tracks as the altercation broke out.

Police told the Record that they were called to a 'disturbance' on Duke Street at around 8pm on Saturday.A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.He is due to appear at Glasgow.
