Wordle is the word game which has taken over the world and has puzzle players hooked. Created by Welsh software engineer Josh Wardle and later sold to the New York Times, Wordle gives players six attempts to guess the five-letter word of the day.
While Josh originally created the game for himself and his partner to play, it later became an online phenomenon, with players regularly sharing their results on Twitter.
