Boots has revealed its 2024 Christmas marketing campaign, The Christmas Makeover, featuring Bridgerton star Adjoa Andoh as the main character.The new advert, which was released on 6 November, sees Adjoa playing Mrs Claus, who is surrounded by a beauty-themed wonderland and her team of elves.
Mrs Claus takes viewers on a tour of the elves' 'werkshop', ensuring all beauty gifts are in place while Santa Claus takes a break.The advert showcases a variety of popular brands and the elves modelling different looks to appeal to all beauty lovers.The advert ends with Mrs Claus looking satisfied with her work, before jokingly saying: "You thought it was all him?" Pete Markey, Chief Marketing Officer at Boots, said: "As the UK's favourite beauty retailer, we are on a mission to spread magic and excitement to beauty enthusiasts this Christmas, whilst also recognising the unsung powerhouses who make Christmas so special", reports the Daily Record. "This advert is the perfect culmination of both, and I cannot wait to see the reaction and help gift-givers find the perfect gift this Christmas. "In the past 12 months - our 175th anniversary year - we have expanded our beauty offering even further by launching another 55 new beauty brands, including some of the biggest names in beauty such as Prada Beauty, Made by Mitchell and Supergoop! "With 1,300 gifts to choose from and over 160 of the hottest trending brands, we want to wow you and your loved ones this Christmas." Boots' Christmas advert premiered on 6 November and is all set to wow audiences on ITV1 during the first episode of the much-acclaimed series Until I Kill You at 9.30pm..
