The 69-year-old singer had a miscarriage in her early 40s and was never able to conceive again, dashing her dreams of motherhood. "It would have been lovely if it had worked out and the pregnancy went ahead - but unfortunately it didn't," says Bonnie. "It is horrible when it happens but you just have to get on with it you know. "Maybe I should have tried to have kids when I was younger but my music career was doing really well and I kept putting it off. "Then when I did try, my body didn't hang on to the baby."But I have a wonderful life and a beautiful family.
