The 39-year-old started the League One curtain raiser over the weekend against the Dons as Wanderers came from behind twice to claim a deserved point late on courtesy of Alex Baptiste's injury time strike in a 3-3 draw.

But it was not the greatest day at the office for Gilks, who was beaten at his near post by Mo Eisa for the Dons' first goal, and did not move when Scott Twine's free kick went over the Bolton wall and beyond him. READ MORE: Where
