It was really bad."I wasn't getting better and I was coughing and coughing so my husband called the paramedics in."They put me on to an on-call GP who gave me steroids and some infection tablets."But, a few days later it didn't really help much, my temperature was going up and I was coughing more and more."When it became clear that the medication was not going to dispel her symptoms, an ambulance was called and Mrs Qureshi was brought in to a Covid-19 ward at the Royal Bolton Hospital.She spent six days in a bed receiving treatment and regular oxygen, with an X-ray revealing that she was also suffering from pneumonia.
