Nicky Devlin remains confident Aberdeen will not be caught short if Bojan Miovski is sold.The North Macedonia international is attracting interest from top European leagues and Girona are in talks with the Dons over a potential deal.
Devlin knows it would be a blow to lose last season’s 26-goal hero but Ester Sokler showed in the Premier Sports Cup group stage he is a more than adequate replacement.
Devlin said: “We’ve got boys who will be able to step up if Bojan’s not going to be involved. “Ester’s got four goals already, which I think is about what he got last year.
Pape Habib Gueye has come back and looked really good... Peter Ambrose is off the mark as well. We’ve got boys who can come in and fill that void.
