Weeks saw Tillie coming home from school upset, prompting dad Noel to find out she was being mocked for her disability. And after a crucial hospital visit, the Radfords were at a crossroads deciding whether Tillie should have a leg operation.
On the show, which returned last month, Sue recalled the moment with concern: "When Tillie was five, she was stood in front of me and I thought, 'There was a bone like it was sticking out'.
I went straight to the doctor and the doctor went, 'Yep, that definitely doesn't look right'.There was a problem with that bone."
