Police discovered the body of a man in Pickmere Lake in Knutsford on Wednesday evening (June 16). Officers were called to reports a man had gone missing while swimming in the water at around 5.45pm, Cheshire Police said.
The force's specialist underwater search unit, along with crews from Cheshire Fire and Rescue, searched the lake for almost two and a half hours before finding the body, Cheshire Live reports.
