The Ventura County Sheriff's Office announced the major update on Twitter.It added that the recovery is in progress and a press conference will be held at 2pm local time (10pm BST).The 33-year-old actress, best known for playing Santana Lopez on musical comedy series Glee, disappeared while on a boating trip with her four-year-old son at Lake Piru on Wednesday.A rescue mission was launched but less than 24 hours later police said Rivera was presumed dead.On Sunday police ruled out suicide following a statement from her four-year-old Josey Hollis.
Sergeant Kevin Donoghue told People that after speaking with Josey, they have found no evidence as to why the actress would have taken her own life.
