A body has been found on a Scots footpath as police probe an 'unexplained' death. An unresponsive male was found near Auchinairn Road at the junction of Woodhill Road in Bishopbriggs on Monday, June 13.

Emergency services rushed to the scene at around 12.20am and tragically, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.The death is being treated as unexplained and police officers are currently at the location while enquiries remain ongoing.Forensics tents have also been seen there.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.20am on Monday, June 13, police received a report of an unresponsive male on a footpath near Auchinairn Road (junction of Woodhill Road) Bishopbriggs. "Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene."The death is currently being treated as unexplained."Officers remain at the scene whilst enquiries are ongoing.
