Police have discovered a body in the search for Martin Sinnet, who had been reported missing from East Lothian. Mr Sinnet, 70, was last seen around 9:20am on September 26 in Newhailes Road, Musselburgh, walking away from the Shell petrol station at the junction with Edinburgh Road.An extensive search was launched and cops were stopping vehicles in the area this week to appeal for information.However, the body of a man was sadly discovered next to an industrial estate in Newhailes Road, today, Wednesday October 11 at around 2:55pm.Formal identification is still to take place, but the next of kin of missing man Martin Sinnett has been informed.Police say there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
