Body discovered at disused Scots quarry as cops launch probe

A body has been found at a disused Scots quarry. Officers were called to the scene at Torphin Quarry in Edinburgh on Sunday, November 6.

A body was then discovered at the site on Torphin Road. The age or gender of the person who passed away is not known at this time.
