But, as he fights to make his name in America, the 27-year-old has been suffering in the States. MacIntyre’s massive decision to move across the Atlantic to further his career is proving a tough business.In 12 events so far, the Oban ace has missed six cuts.

Obviously I went home for three weeks there recently and felt like I came out a far happier man because it does get on top of you.
