The ceremony, of course, was virtual this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic—and Blue did not make a speech for the award, which was given out during the pre-show.
But Beyoncé did , introduced by former First Lady Michelle Obama. This wasn't even Blue Ivy's first award for the song. She won the Ashford & Simpson Songwriters’ Award at the 2019 BET Soul Train Awards, as well as Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration at the 2020 NAACP Image Awards.
