ITV's Starstruck and Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway will not air next weekend.Ant and Dec's dose of evening fun and gags usually airs on Saturdays at 7pm, with Starstruck following at 8.30pm.It comes as the Six Nations coverage will commence on the channel on Saturday, March 19 from 7.15pm.The rugby coverage is taking priority over the usual Saturday night evening slots in the TV schedule. The first season debuted in 2020, when rumblings of the “metaverse” had yet to make it into the zeitgeist. Since then, the company previously known as Facebook has rebranded as Meta — even taking a few pages from Daniels’ book.“It’s kind of hilarious that Facebook is now calling their metaverse Horizon a couple years after we did,” Daniels told Variety, referencing the company’s free virtual reality game Horizon Worlds which was released in December 2021.

Ukrainian couple confronted armed Russian soldiers after they broke into their home.The clip shows three armed Russian soldiers walking towards the distressed Ukrainian couple's property before the guards attempt to force an entry.In heartbreaking scenes, the Russian soldiers manage to force open the gate and walk into the Ukrainian couple's home with their weapons drawn.Many have commented about the couple's bravery and courage during the tense moment.Barking dogs can be heard shrieking in the background of the video, and then an elderly couple appears to confront the armed men, which leads to high levels of shouting.The US embassy in Kyiv has shared the clip on social media and it has since gone viral.A fourth soldier then enters their property as the couple continues to shout, urging them to leave.The soldiers are eventually seen turning around and leaving the property after the commotion.The couple are then seen walking the guards towards the gate before shutting it behind them. It is understood that incident happened in Mykolayiv Oblast, about 80 miles east of Odessa in southern Ukraine.

Kim Murphy The Kyiv-based Molodist International Film Festival has penned an open letter to the film community calling on other festivals to join in a boycott of Russian films as a response to the invasion of Ukraine by Russian military forces.The festival’s statement cites an ongoing effort by modern Russia to “separate culture from politics” and to “[use] that same culture to distract the West from Russia’s wars, human rights violations, censorship and persecution of political dissidents.”“There are Russian filmmakers and intellectuals who have been truly vocal in their dissent and criticism of Russia’s aggression toward Ukraine throughout these years, and we know some of them personally,” the statement reads.
