A man and a boy have been seriously injured after a double stabbing in Rochdale. Police were called to reports of a disturbance in the Smallbridge area of the town shortly before 6.20pm yesterday (Sunday).
A man and a boy were found with serious injuries after being stabbed. They were taken to hospital and received treatment for injuries that police have described as "life-changing".
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of assault and violent disorder. They remain in police custody. Eyewitnesses reported seeing armed police in the area following the incident, as well as a car "splattered with blood". One resident, who saw police lining the street behind her house, told the Manchester Evening News: "I live in the row in front.
