TikTok user Kegs has claimed he was “scammed” when lounging on a beach in Bali.The Indonesian island is known for its beautiful beaches, breath-taking jungles and mouth-watering food.Instagram influencers often travel to Bali in their droves to get that perfect shot - but this lad had a slightly different experience.In a TikTok clip that has racked up 2.7million views, Kegs rested on his front as three ladies provided a massage as he relaxed on the beach.Dream worthy, right?But Kegs alleged he only said yes to one - and then they charged him $100,000 (£82,000) each.“Point of view: You get scammed at Dreamland beach in Bali.
One woman offers a massage for $100,000 and you say yes.“Next thing there’s three of them on you and they demand $100,000 each, proper hustlers,” Kegs wrote along with a laughing emoji.With another chuckling emoji, he alleged in the caption: “They know what they’re doing.”Fear not though...Kegs didn’t fork out hundreds of thousands of dollars for the intense beach massage despite using a dollar sign in the clip.The lad paid in the national currency, Indonesian Rupiah, which works out about $20 or £16 for the massage from the three women.Since going viral, many people have noted that the cost is not that much - and advised him on how to avoid similar situations in the future.One person commented: “That’s Bali alright.”Another user added: “That looks like it’s worth every penny.”Whilst a third person voiced: “Just ignore anything you don’t want.”Someone else related: “That’s why I never make eye contact.
