Blake Shelton holds onto a fold up chair while heading back to his car in Los Angeles over the weekend. The 46-year-old country singer walked with his wife, Gwen Stefani, after catching a football game for one of her three sons.
The cute couple sat beside some friends of theirs in the bleachers during the athletic event. During a new interview on Today, Blake opened up about why he made the decision to leave The Voice after 23 seasons on the show. Keep reading to find out more… “I think I was close to calling it a day right when COVID hit,” Blake shared on the program with all the coaches of the show. “And then, because of COVID, I didn’t want to walk away from the show and leave everybody in a bind.
I mean, this show changed my life. I’ll stay here until the world kind of gets back to normal again.” He added that the show has had a huge impact on his life and career. “I met my wife on this show,” he noted. “It’s changed my life in every way it possibly can.
When I came on as a coach on this show, I mean, everything in my life was turned upside down, and in a good way, you know? This has been incredible, but it’s time, you know.
