One of the most anticipated fights of the year is off, with Tommy Fury withdrawing from the fight with Jake Paul just 12 days before the planned contest.
After trading plenty of barbs on social media, the pair finally agreed to face each other in the ring on December 18th but Fury withdrew from the bout.
Fury was due to trade blows with Paul over eight three-minute rounds at a catchweight of 192lb – around the same weight Paul has fought since he turned professional last year.
The contract negotiations for the fight have been much discussed over the past few months, with some of the finer details having hit the headlines.
