Anyone who’s chosen the pandemic to start a new business will probably look back in a few years’ time and wonder why on earth they did it.
Joining their number are Rachel Winter Jones and Marc Molé, now the proud custodians of Stockport’s historic Winter’s building.
Reclaiming the iconic space - which is owned by the council and which had laid empty for some years - they have created a classic French bistro inside with Marc, a former architect from Paris, and Rachel, a lawyer who spent 20 years at the World Bank, writing a new chapter for themselves in the world of food.
It’s taken them three years in all to complete Bistro Marc, with the couple stepping into the building for the first time in January of 2019.
